On Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at the TRAFO Hub, Sophienstraße 40, Braunschweig, the Salon der Wissenschaft (Salon of Science) offered all interested people a place to meet and exchange ideas with researchers from the region.

How can we preserve biodiversity? What opportunities does digitalisation open up for science, culture and our everyday lives? And what ideas and innovations are helping us make progress in climate protection? Around 30 scientists from research institutions in the Braunschweig region explained their research and shared their visions for the future in four rounds of discussion.

The Salon der Wissenschaft is organised by ForschungRegion Braunschweig e.V. in cooperation with the City of Braunschweig.

This innovative event format was developed by the Haus der Wissenschaft Braunschweig (Braunschweig House of Science).
