On Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 at the TRAFO Hub, Sophienstraße 40, Braunschweig, the Salon der Wissenschaft (Salon of Science) offers all interested people a place to meet and exchange ideas with researchers from the region.

How can we preserve biodiversity? What opportunities does digitalisation open up for science, culture and our everyday lives? And what ideas and innovations are helping us make progress in climate protection? Around 30 scientists from research institutions in the Braunschweig region will explain what they are researching and what their visions for the future are in four rounds of talk.

Die Besucher*innen haben die Möglichkeit Fragen zu stellen und auch über spannende und zukunftsweisende Forschungsthemen zu diskutieren. Besucher*innen die nicht diskutieren wollen, können einfach per Kopfhörer ausgewählte Gespräche mithören.

The Salon der Wissenschaft is organised by ForschungRegion Braunschweig e.V. in cooperation with the City of Braunschweig.

This innovative event format was developed by the Haus der Wissenschaft Braunschweig (Braunschweig House of Science).
